| Has been addicted to Capoeira for 16 years with no relief in sight. He began training in 1995 with very little potential and a lot of heart. He began teaching Capoeira 12 years ago and now enjoys seeing his students graduate and teach classes themselves. This past year with the support of his students, he founded the Capoeira Superação Arts Consortium. Capoeira has provided him with the opportunity to travel to Europe, South and Central America and the Carribean to share with students the art of Capoeira. He has also been featured in print and television. But what Professor Alemão enjoys most is teaching a new generation of Capoeira students. He teaches children, teens and adults who find this rhythmic martial art an exciting way to keep in shape. Currently located in South Florida, Professor Alemão teaches beginner classes, advanced classes and private classes upon request. He also is able to travel for seminars or performances.
